How this site works
Tree Service Toledo publishes the big-tree guides, the town-by-town rules and the estimate form. This site receives estimate requests and coordinates with Roque Tree Service, which assesses the actual tree, recommends the method and quotes the job under its own name. The credentials on this page are Roque's.

Why the guides exist
The guides say things a contractor's own site rarely does: that a tree in the Toledo tree lawn is the city's under Municipal Code Chapter 917 and not yours to remove; that a borer-killed ash is not climbed by anyone; that a crane on a Monroe County road shoulder needs a Road Commission permit; that a standard policy caps debris removal near $500 per tree; that oaks in Southeast Michigan are not cut between April 15 and July 15. Those facts, with their sources, are in the crane guide, the size guide, the dead-ash guide, the Ohio vs Michigan guide and the storm and insurance guide. Read them, then request an estimate.
